CDM Co-ordination




Under Health & Safety Legislation, clients have an obligation to appoint a CDM Co-ordinator in all non-domestic projects where the project is likely to involve more than 30 days, or 500 person days, of construction work.
Wittets Ltd provide an in-house CDM Co-ordinator service to undertake the suites required. This appointment is usually made at the same stage as appointment of the architect’s services, as under the CDM regulations the architect cannot undertake design and planning work until the CDM Co-ordinator is appointed.
One of our directors, Stephen Gauld, is a member of the Association of Project Safety (APS) and has been qualified to advise clients on the CDM regulations since the regulations became law in 1996.
